Friendly Biology introduces high school students to biology in a simple and welcoming way. Through hands-on labs, paper and digital dissections students will explore the amazing world of living things and develop a deeper appreciation for their complexity. Topics include what all living things have in common, basic chemistry, the roles of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids, cell biology, mitosis and meiosis, genetics, reproduction, taxonomy, an overview of different life kingdoms, human body systems, and ecology.

This course includes 30 lessons, meeting twice a week for 55 minutes each session.
Total Class Fee: $250
This course is $4.16 per lecture hour or $8.33 per week.
Class fees can be paid in three installments for your convenience. A nonrefundable deposit is due in June to reserve your child’s spot in class. The remaining balance will be divided into two equal payments, each due three weeks before the start of the semester. Please note that payments become nonrefundable after the listed semester due dates. You are also welcome to pay the full balance at any time.
